About The IAB ALM Conference

The IAB Annual Leadership Meeting (ALM) 2023 was a gathering of some of the most prominent leaders in the digital advertising industry. 

The conference was held in Marco Island, Florida, from January 22-24 and brought together professionals from all over the world to discuss the latest trends and developments in the field.

Major Highlights of The Conference

Data Privacy and Security: The conference emphasized the importance of data privacy and security in the digital advertising ecosystem. Speakers discussed the need for companies to be transparent about their data collection practices and to give users control over their personal information. They also highlighted the challenges of complying with new privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

The Future of Digital Advertising: The conference discussed the growing importance of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the industry, as well as the potential for virtual and augmented reality to transform the way brands reach and engage with consumers. It was great catching up with old friends at IAB ALM and talking about how utilizing 1st party data is changing the ad tech ecosystem, as well as hearing about all the upcoming changes with connected TV. There are a lot of big things on the horizon coming in the industry and for Insticator.
