Sporcle has high average time on site, with users visiting 10+ pages per session on average. This poses a challenge for monetizing the user’s visit on later pageviews, and some of our previous floor tags had shown declining performance.

We wanted to grow revenue by reducing unfilled impressions, increasing average CPM, and strengthening the competition within our ad stack.

  • Insticator created separate tags and reports to run geo-specific tags to integrate with Sporcles ad stack and financial reporting requirements.
  • Created floor and non-floor tags in order to compete at a higher price level with a volume cap, and a lower price level with uncapped volume.
